Tom Brassell is the play by play announcer for the Choctawhatchee Big Green Indians, working with color analyst Lionel Fayard, Jr. on the airwaves since the 2003 season. He is a 1975 graduate of Fort Walton Beach High School where he was a member of the varsity golf team, then attended college on a golf scholarship at both Pensacola Junior College and Northwestern State University of Louisiana. He is a past president of Shalimar Youth Football Association, Meigs Middle School Booster Club and the All Sports Association where he is active on the Hall of Fame and Wuerffel Trophy committees. Tom has also been broadcasting local high school boy's basketball games on radio since 2004 with Ray Ross. He works for Edwin Watts Golf here in Fort Walton Beach in the internet marketing department. Tom has been married to his wife Betty for 19 years, has two sons at Choctaw who play basketball, Tommy (senior) and Jonathan (freshman) and two cocker spaniels (Bosco and Lucky).

"Little" Lionel Fayard is the son of former Big Green Indian head football coach Lionel Fayard Sr. He is a proud graduate of Choctawhatchee High class of 1991. Lionel was an all state defensive back for the Choctaw Indians 1990 5A state championship team. He received an athletic grant in aid to play football for Joe Paterno and the Penn State Nittany Lions. Lionel played defensive back at for the Nittany Lions for four years and was a member of the 1994 undefeated, untied Rose Bowl Championship team. Lionel moved back to the Emerald Coast in 1998 and just recently started Alliance Management Company, Inc.; an association management company that services master planned communities and condominium association in Northwest Florida. Lionel has been married to his lovely wife, Jamie for 8 years and they have two children, Maddax age 3 and Carson age 13 months.
