Coach Kendrick

Position at Choctaw: Strength and Conditioning Coach / Varsity Offensive Line
 Coach Kendrick came to us with new energy, knowledge, experience and most of all a fresh direction and drive for the Choctaw Football Program. Coach Kendrick has a Certified Teaching Degree in Physical Education, along with a Major in Biology and Minor in Business. His experience in the Strength and Conditioning Education has been a twenty-two-year career.
With his experience and knowledge he has high expectations for the Choctaw Football Players. He stepped into the newly renovated weight room with new equipment for the players and new goals to achieve. Over all he seems to be satisfied with the players in the weight room.
Coach Kendrick has a vision for the players, with this vision he wants the players to be able to compete against all teams that they will be up against. His goals for the players are the same, when they walk onto the field they will have the confidence and tenacity to play against the opposing team and not back down. From all the hard workouts and conditioning Coach has been looking for not just a few good leaders, but a Team of Leaders. Through the vision and goals that Coach has set forth, he knows that when the Summer Heat Program is over, Choctaw will have these leaders.
In closing Coach Kendrick quoted something the players will learn, "We are as Strong as our weakest Link.” With this knowledge in mind, players will learn that "Attitude" is everything and all players are important from JV, Varsity and Special Teams . . . one player is as important as the next.
Saying all this Coach Kendrick's vision and goals will produce the stronger more competitive team for this year and for the years to come.
